Easter 2013

We spent a quiet, relaxing Easter just the three of us. Because I'm such a holiday geek and love to celebrate and stick with tradition, I insisted on buying candy/healthy snack for Max, and hid eggs for he and Daddy in the front yard. Max is far too young to understand the concept of Easter egg hunting. But, Adam took him around to find the eggs, and then we sat on the front lawn while Max enjoyed playing with eggs and eating little snacks. We had all morning to take a nice walk and enjoy the sunlight, and then went to church, where we loved listening to all the Christ-centered music and talks. It was such a beautiful and reflective Easter day as I pondered on the gift of the resurrection and the hope that I can see my mom again someday.

I hope you all had a lovely Easter as well!
