Adam's Birthday Weekend/Tiling Project

Finally back from a two month hiatus! These are a little late coming, but here are some pictures from Adam's birthday weekend.

We decided to play tourists and get to know Denver! Here we are at Union station, a really cool train station that we really know nothing about.

Playing the piano on 16th street.

Adam playing chess with an awesome old man that looks like a character from the Pixar short film. Feel the intensity.

Lastly we ended his birthday celebrating with Dennis and Marilyn and some of Adam's friends that are getting married this fall. We ate lots of delicious food and had a lot of laughs. I love you Adam, and happy birthday!

As some of you may know, last month we decided to tile our dining room since it was originally carpeted and well, we all know who the messy eater is in this family. :) Here are a few pics from our tiling journey...

Freaking out here about ripping up the carpet. Well, at least I was.

Taking out the tacks

He painted himself in a corner. Here we're putting on the sealant. And in case you're wondering where I am, I swear I helped! I was just also the designated photographer.

Here are the tiles right before laying the grout.

I should also mention that Brianna's husband Mike helped us out a ton! Without him, it would've taken four times as long (literally) to finish. Thank you so much, Mike! And thank you Adam for working so hard! You guys did such a great job!
