A Hall Christmas

Can I just start by saying how great marriage is? It's wonderful knowing you have gained two families to spend time with, two families who support and love you, and two great families to share the Christmas season with! Seriously, life can't get much better than that, folks.

So, this Christmas we spent with the Hall family, thus the title of this post, and it was fantastic! Due to heavy snowfall and icy road conditions, Adam and I arrived in Utah later Christmas eve than expected, but we enjoyed some warm delectable white chili and a great evening with our brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Sara. We watched Joy to the World, sang some Christmas hymns, and watched our niece Makenna open a gift and learn about baby Jesus. The next morning we arose early, and spent the morning eating delicious food and watching our nieces and nephew's faces light up as they opened their gifts. Christmas evening the Hall family gathered for a delicious dinner, followed by an exciting game of Charades. I won't go into all the details... :) Also, all the couples chose another couple to exchange gifts with. We received ladderball from Mark and Sara, haven't had the chance to play it yet, but hear it is super fun!
The rest of our time in Northern Utah was spent playing games, eating out, and going skiing with Adam's siblings.

I forgot to mention, Adam bought me new ski boots and a hybrid (bike)! While in St George with my family, Adam and I took time to hiking and biking. Here's some pictures...

Needless to say, Christmas break was a blast, we're so grateful to have two wonderful families and to take the Christmas season to celebrate Christ's birth and spend quality time together.
